This project was initiated by Stark Tech to deliver a scalable, modular microgrid platform that could be deployed quickly across diverse customer sites. The solution, known as Microgrid-on-a-Skid (MGS), packaged energy storage, controls, and power conversion equipment into a pre-engineered skid-based unit.
The goal was to reduce deployment time, simplify integration, and support grid-tied and islanded applications with flexible configurations. The MGS platform continues to evolve to meet regulatory standards, on-site installation needs, and compliance requirements in high-performance energy environments.
Roadmap & MVP Definition – Defined the initial MVP scope for the MGS platform by aligning customer needs with engineering and commercial capabilities. Prioritized features that would enable parallel scalability and field configurability.
Feature Development – Spearheaded the delivery of key features like fan fallback logic, remote diagnostics, and component-level configurability to enhance field support and maintain uptime during outages.
Cross-Functional Alignment – Worked closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to turn concept into executable build packages, ensuring technical requirements were clearly defined and tracked.
Proposal & Technical Documentation – Created standardized proposal tools including configuration diagrams, BOM templates, and spec sheets to accelerate quoting, improve early-stage clarity, and reduce rework across teams.
Customer Feedback Integration – Leveraged Voice of Customer (VoC) insights and field partner feedback to improve the platform’s modularity and compliance readiness, contributing to faster adoption and deployment flexibility.
